Jewellery
General Care
Regardless of material, all Şener Besim jewellery benefits from the same foundational care.
Remove when
Showering, swimming, sleeping, cleaning, or working with your hands
Avoid
Perfume, hairspray, creams, bleach, chlorinated or salt water
Storage
Store individually in a cool, dry place to prevent scratching, tangling, or tarnishing
Gold Vermeil
Şener Besim pieces are finished in 14ct gold vermeil — a sterling silver base coated in a thick layer of gold. With proper care, your pieces will maintain their lustre for years.
Clean with
A soft 100% cotton or microfibre cloth with warm soapy water only
Avoid
Harsh chemicals, coarse fabrics, and heat — these can strip the gold and cause discolouration
After wear
Wipe gently after each wear to remove body oils, cosmetics, and grime
Silver Rhodium
Our silver pieces are rhodium plated — a fine layer of metal deposited onto sterling silver for a lustrous, durable finish. Note that rhodium plating naturally wears over time and can be re-plated under our warranty.
Clean with
Soak in soap-free warm water for up to 15 minutes, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry
Polish
A silver polishing cloth can be used to restore shine
Avoid
Harsh cleaners that can damage the rhodium coating
Ready to Wear
Knitwear
Şener Besim knitwear is crafted in Italy from the finest Italian yarns, designed to be a timeless wardrobe staple. Dry cleaning is recommended, but if washing at home:
Washing
Cold water with an eco-friendly wool detergent. Soak up to 10 minutes, rinse gently — do not rub or scrub
Drying
Press gently with a dry towel and lay flat to air dry. Never wring or hang
Storage
Fold neatly in a drawer or on a shelf — never hang, to prevent stretching
Resort Collection
Our Resort pieces are crafted from heavyweight 100% Turkish Mercerised Cotton, produced in Türkiye. The mercerisation process gives each piece increased strength and a smooth, luxurious finish.
Washing
Hand wash recommended. Machine wash on gentle in lukewarm water. Wash separately or with similar colours
Drying
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry
Ironing
Steam or iron on reverse side only to avoid shiny marks. Dry cleanable

Always store in a protective case when not in use
Cleaning
Use a microfibre cloth. For dirty lenses, rinse with lukewarm water first, then clean with the cloth
